A hardware-profile creator is not automatically an adapter maintainer. Ownership requires a named person, defined support scope, pinned implementation, inspectable tests and public confirmation.
Make adapter responsibility explicit
A bounded ownership record helps practitioners find the supported contract, tests, limitations, and a real maintainer without implying compatibility.
Claim a real, bounded responsibility
Propose ownership with source revision, robot/gripper/sensor and software constraints, tests, known limitations and a support issue. Each proposed maintainer personally confirms the contract digest in a public comment. Repository maintainers check the claim and merge the record; a form submission is not confirmed ownership.
Renew within 90 days, disclose breaking changes and record handoffs or retirement publicly. Expired confirmations are never displayed as current maintenance.
